Bought this saw about a year ago, this replaced a Delta that I had for years which was a very good saw. But the Saw Stop had safety features that convinced me I needed to upgrade. A coworker cut his thumb off some years back, he had ran a table saw five days a week for twenty some years before the mishap. It always bothered me and still does the thought of having a finger cut off. Is my finger worth $3,000.00 I think so. The saw stop had the quality I was looking for and in my mind is a lot safer saw. After having this saw for over a year I know I made the right choice.
