ECOGATE System Description & How the System Works

The Ecogate System is completely automated, thanks to sensors and the greenBOX ® controller. When a machine is turned on, the sensor signals the greenBOX® to open the appropriate gate and turn on the dust collector. When the machine stops, the gate closes, and the dust collector stops.

Ecogate Industrial Systems

To improve the suction and reduce electricity consumption a motorized gates are used at each workstation. When a machine is turned on, the sensor signals the greenBOX® to open the appropriate gate. The Ecogate System monitors the activity of all machines in your factory and, through a variable speed drive, continually optimizes the amount of power supplied to your fan. This generates energy savings of up to 80%. The system is designed to maintain minimum airflow in the duct system to avoid sawdust settling in the duct system by open additional gates when necessary. We offer three different control systems for different sizes of factories. The smallest control unit greenBOX ONE is designed to control one gate. The medium sized greenBOX PRO is designed for medium sized factories with up to 22 workstations. And the largest control unit, greenBOX MASTER, can handle up to 88 workstations. greenBOX Controllers

The greenBOX ® 12 is designed for commercial shops or small factories. It can control gates for up to 12 workstations and start/stop the dust collector. The output for the optional variable spedd drive is also priovided. Each workstation can have one, two or three gates (operated at a same time). The greenBOX ® 12 is an industrial-duty system based on an Freescale/Motorola microprocessors. The system is delivered with Windows PC Setup and Monitoring software.

The greenBOX ® MASTER is the industrial version of the system, designed for use in factories of all sizes. It can control gates for up to 88 workstations (or more), and comes with a variable speed drive. In addition, this system also has advanced computerized functions that the other versions do not have (such as remote access via internet or dial-up modem).
