DMM1003 - Dentil Molding Machine

The Dentil Molding Machine can be set for either single- or dual-cut dentil molding. The Dentil Molding Machine operates using mechanical and air logic technology. It has a steel framework designed with an impact valve to reduce machine stress. Each machine comes equipped with two 8" blades designed to deliver clean, accurate cuts.

A material guide adjusts for the material height. The minimum material height is 1/2" and the maximum material height is 2". The material guide is easy to set. Have the work piece ready to slip in, loosen the set screws, slip the work piece below the material guide (leaving 1/16" space between the work piece and the material guide), and tighten the set screws.

Stacker arms adjust for material thickness. The minimum material thickness is 3/8" and the maximum material thickness is 7/8"

The indexing system is accessed through the end panel and can readily calibrate to the required spacing.

In dual-cut mode, the maximum depth of cut with the bottom blade is 3/8". (With the back blade removed, the maximum depth of cut with the bottom blade is 1-1/2".) The maximum depth of cut with the back blade is 1/2" (dual- or single-cut). The depth of cut is set by using the hand wheels at the back of the machine.

Drive rollers feed the work piece through the machine. The material length is unlimited as long as you support the material that extends beyond the machine.

The aluminum surface is enhanced with slip plastic to improve material-feed through the machine. The center cylinder clamps the work piece in place while the cuts are being made.

A roller is used to activate the indexing system while moving the work piece through the machine. The spacing on the work piece is set from the leading edge of the block to the leading edge of the next block. The maximum spacing is 3".

The width of the cut is determined by the tooling. The machine can accept tooling up to 3/4".

The average speed is three feet per minute (based on two cuts, one inch spacing). The Dentil Molding Machine's footprint is 46" x 33". The machine requires a 110 volt power supply and a clean compressed air supply (80 pounds minimum). The shipping weight is 900 pounds (freight class 65). The Dentil Molding Machine has a dust collection box which must be attached to a 4" dust collecting system.
