OMGA Finger Jointing Lines - FJL 184

It is composed by two opposed shapers, each one with its own hogging saw. A sequence of automatic conveyor belts, handles the moving around of batch of pieces at a rate of up to 3.5 batches per minute. The central carriage moves the tools at a variable speed controlled by inverter. At every cycle of the carriage, a complete batch exits the shaper. An electronic system controls the quantity of applied glue. The glue applicator includes a fast cleaning system for the circuit. This line can perform both vertical Finger Joint, as well as horizontal Butt Joint. After shaping, the complete pack is transferred onto the automatic flip-over station which drops piece by piece on the line-up conveyor. The turn over brush can be lifted for batches with horizontal joint. Pieces are lined up inside the horizontal double chain driven channel to pre-compose the board. The pre-press unit has four motorized rollers inverter driven with variable speed to recompose the board at first. After reaching the proximity switch at the end of the press unit , which is pre set to the desired length, the board is cut to length. Length is adjustable electronically from 7' 6" up to maximum length of the press. An encoder wheel reads the moving board, allowing to electronically program multiple cuts on the same board. The board is finally cut to length and measured by encoder . it is possible to program up to 4 lengths on the same pressing cycle.
