The principle of the design of the Pistorius multiple cut-off saws is to simultaneously make a left and a right cut with each cycle of the machine. With appopriate options, cuts cut on each end of the work piece can be set to your specific requirements. Accurate are assured by calibrated angle scales and cutting between the two saw blades. Sawhead movement is achieved by precision pivot bearing or dovetailed slides depending on the model. These machines make two cuts in the same length of time that one is made on a single cut-off machine. Cuts are consistently made clean and without tear out or burrs. Length measurements are accurately made using the provided calibrated scale with pointer or optional electronic digital read out.

CUT-N-KERF MACHINE
The Cut-N-Kerf Machine is specially designed to obtain accurate double-end compound miters and Kerfs, while maintaining a high production rate. This is achieved by mounting both the mitering and kerfing saws on one movable head on each side of the machine.
The material is positively clamped face down, from both the top and back to consistently assure the accurate location of the miter and the kerf. To reduce the affects of wear, all necessary parts are precision hardened and ground, while the basic construction is of rugged high quality components. The fully automatic electro-pneumatic circuit combines the functions of hopper feeding and ejecting to further increase the productivity of the machine. A single operator can easily run this machine.
