QuickWood QN Rustic Brush
QN Rustic
The best tool to remove soft grain to make a rustic looking door. The QN Rustic brush is a very short brush in a heavy brush and will therefore remove the soft wood on Pine and leave the hardwood. The surface will not be as textured as sandblasting but will look very rustic and country.

QN Steel
We have a special steel brush for opening the wood grain. The abrasive is used for making openings in the wood grain and to make it look rustic. The steel brush is used first, then a powder is put into the open wood. Chalk or other types of powder are used. The surface is then brushed clean and a clear lacquer is applied. The white powder is now sitting inside the low grain. The QN steel brush look is unbelievable.

QuickWood QN Tynex Brush
QN Tynex
QN Tynex is a support brush with impregnated abrasives in grit coarse, medium and fine. The brush is used in sealer sanding applications to support the Quickdiscs. The Tynex brush is also very good in getting down into the small groves and sand there. QN Tynes has abrasive in the tips and are all tynex brush on the sides. Therefore the combination with the Quickdiscs work so well.

QuickWood Quick-Brushes
Quick Brushes
Because of the many different needs within the woodworking industry, QuickWood designed a modular brush wheel capable of housing a comprehensive assortment of brushes and sanding drums. The QN Model is shipped as either a red and blue Hub. The brushes installed in these hubs are offset to obtain a more uniform brush/sand pattern. Spacers are helpful, and most often necessary, to avoid brushes packed too close. The above image displays some of QuickWood Systems brush styles: A. QN NYLON For polishing of wax, may be combined with leather strips. Works equally well on cold and warm wax. B. QN HR STEEL BRUSHES For brushing of hardwood to open pores and spray insertion with chalk or color to pinpoint pore location. Available in grit Coarse, Universal, and Fine. C. QN TYNEX For sealer sanding of difficult items, often stained. Available in grits Universal, Medium, and Fine. D. QN TYNEX & QUICKDISCS By combining Tynex Brushes and QuickDiscs on your QN Hub, you have an excellent method of sealer sanding complex, difficult workpieces. This combo makes it possible to impact profiles and not damage any existing stain.

QuickDiscs provide a gentle finish by removing the microscopic fibers from the wood's surface. This results in a considerably smoother sealer coat, requiring less sealer in the process. QuickDiscs are mostly used in finishing sanding, where edge breakage is of concern.
