Description:
The Sandya 3/S Series, 37" and 43" wide belt sander is available in both a single (combination head) and double head (drum, combination head) version. The most versatile machine in it's class for veneer and solid wood sanding.

Major Features:
- Cast iron infeed table that is machine milled to exact tolerances
- Four independent lifting columns keep the conveyor mat parallel to the sanding head(s)
- High speed, sealed bearings require no lubrication
- Seamless conveyor feed mat allows no transfer to the workpiece and can be dressed routinely thanks to the thick, rubber material
- Dead shaft technology reduces vibrations that can cause chatter on the workpiece
- Interchangeable platen kit with two platens
Detailed Features:
- Rubber coated pressing rollers before and after working unit
- .7 HP 2 speed feed unit. Feed speeds set at 15 and 30 feet per minute
- Electronic digital thickness readout of work table position
- Electronic positioning of the work table
- Powered table lifting by means of four heavy duty motor and lifting columns double fastened at both top and bottom of the lifting columns to provide exceptional table stability
- Accurate and reliable electronic tracking of abrasive belt and air jet cleaning device
- Pneumatic belt tensioning with center fulcrum to compensate for tapering of abrasive belt
- Amperage meter for main motors allows maximum utilization of available horsepower
- Main disconnect switch with the ability to be locked out by padlock
- 50 shore, negative profile (waffle style) rubber feed mat
