Powermatic 6" Jointer W/ Helical Cutterhead
This jointer is simply one of the best in its class. It is a six inch jointer with a helical cutter which consists of 40 indexable carbide knife inserts. No need to adjust the inserts after the installation. When one of the inserts is nicked, you can just rotate it and continue working. These features allow the machine to produce more excellent finishes with less noise than most standard jointers. Aside from the knife inserts, the Powermatic 6" Jointer with helical cutterhead also includes a long fence with positive stops. You control the depth of each cut by using the adjustment lever found at the infeed table. This jointer also consists of infeed and outfeed table located on the dovetailed ways, heavy-duty steel stand and dust port.
